INTER-CHANGE to INNNER-CHANGE: Grief (Postponed)
Postponed |
Grieving isn't a linear process and it isn't the same for everyone. How are you handling your grief and making room for other things in life? We will explore this together. Join us for different ways of witnessing grief by viewing paintings, listening to poetry, gentle movement, moments of silence and conversation. This is not therapy but it can be healing. Don’t go into the holidays with a heavy heart. Touch each other by sharing yours.

INTER-CHANGE to INNNER-CHANGEWHO?
Limited to 18 women who are interested in having meaningful conversations Group Facilitators: Tamara Moore (Organizational Consultant), Betz Smisek (Artist and Creative Entrepreneur) and Amanda Allee (Dean of Students at UCCS) WHAT? An experience to meet in smaller groups of 6 and inter-change ideas about one specific for a possible inner-change in the way one processes a certain word. For example, if this month's word was, "freedom," what does the word freedom mean to you? Tell a story about a time you experienced freedom. Is there such a thing as too much freedom? Tamara, Amanda and Betz will facilitate the discussion while we dine on a yummy catered dinner and enjoy a beverage (wine and non-alcoholic offerings). WHERE? The Lawrence Dryhurst Galley, 122 E Kiowa Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 WHEN? A four (4) month session, preference given to women who can attend all sessions Tuesday nights starting in July from 6pm to 8:30pm (formal program ends at 8:00) July,12th, August 16th, September 13th, October 11th HOW? Relax, show up, listen, interact and learn perspectives. Kind of like a book club without the book. Just a word. The words will be pre-selected for the first three months, and you will pick a word the last month. We are leaving the details up to the Universe. Who knows what will happen in the inter-change for possible inner-change? WHY? Women we know are hungry for meaningful conversation and want something beyond the typical networking events. We need to feed our souls with the phrase, “I never thought of it that way.” Sometimes our own inner voice can stagnate with our own ideas. Maybe all we need is to pour fresh water into our brain pool. |
